Smoked meat fell right off the bone! Got the brisket (4/5), St. Louis ribs (5/5), mac and cheese (3/5), and brussel sprouts (2/5 was fried to a crisp). They had great bbq sauces to go with the meats and were super quick with service. A great casual meal!

I read great reviews on Post Oak and was finally in the Denver area to give them a try. It was dumping in May and what better way to stay warm than bbq and booze?! We were lucky and snagged a seat at their beautifully decorated bar otherwise you'll order at the counter and find a seat at one of their tables. They had Superbad playing so we felt right at home. The service was super quick and the staff looked to be hard at work given it being packed inside due to the snow. The hubby and I tried a bit of everything; brisket sandwich, brisket tacos (my favorite), chicken wings that were unfortunately disappointing, corn muffins because how could you not, and the Mac n cheese also disappointing. Their house bbq sauces were a huge hit and could've been enjoyed with a straw. You can taste the love that went into each. Their beef ribs are on my list for the next visit. And be sure to check out their daily food and drink specials.

While post oak is really good, I can't understand how they made the best bbq in the US and Pit Fein BBQ in Denver did not. Pit fein is basiclly an exact copy of true Texas bbq. Both spots are good, both should be on the list. Just because less people have heard of it shouldn't keep it off this list.

Good experience at post oak, but they do sell out of their meats. 7pm for dinner and they only had 3 meats left to choose from. But sooo tasty! Three of us got a brisket sandwich. I preferred Texas style over Carolina style for sure. Buns were sturdy!! I hate soggy buns that fall apart. Brisket was sooo delicious. Wings were hella meaty and tasty-- spicy bbq wasn't too spicy but definitely still had a kick. Someone at our table also got sausage and loved it, and the chili with chips. For sides- Mac and cheese was just ok, mashed potatoes were amazing. Beans & collard greens were good too. Overall would recommend for bbq in the area and I will definitely comeback. I want to try the beef ribs on the weekends!

As a Texan, I know a thing or two about Texas BBQ and this spot is pretty damn authentic. We ordered some brisket, hot links, a loaded baked potato with burnt ends. I really enjoyed the variety of bbq sauce styles offered at the table. Seems like these guys really know what they're doing in the BBQ department. Everything was very tasty. We even got some banana pudding, but had to take it to go because we were so full from lunch! Surprise standout-- Brussel sprouts were out of this world delicious. I need that recipe ASAP. I won't share it, promise!

There was an instagram promotion for a free pulled pork sandwich. It was so good I would pay full price and you get a ton of meat on your sandwich. On the side we got the jalapeño mac and cheese which wasn't my favorite but still tasty. It was a bit runny for my taste.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! I found out about the free code for the Texas sized FREE bbq sandwhich you can get on their website but had no idea it would be so fantastic, and huge! From the moment I entered the restaurant, smiles, welcoming, and I decided to sit at the bar- the bartender was so friendly and helpful( Kara?) She was wearing a Metallica shirt. I decided to get a bunch of sides and I read about the brisket and figured I could bring leftovers to the hubby- and boy did I have leftovers! Portions were huge and everything tasted great! I got collards, fired okra, coleslaw, brisket and how could I not get gooey butter cake?! Amazing!!!
